Post : Sr. Manager / DGM -  SCM  - CRD/2969
Location :Pune
Qualification : B.E (Electrical /Mechanical/Production/Industrial)
Experience :10 - 15 years of experience.

Job Description:

• Should be experienced in procurement of Transformers, Traction Electrics, Powercar Generators and Batteries , Industrial Power and Control equipment etc.
• Should be experienced in Material Management activities both direct and indirect involving Material Planning, Scheduling ,techno - commercial operations and procurement of raw materials .
• Should be expert in SCM - Inventory management, Stores, Warehouse and Logistics Function
• Able to handle purchase & inventory operations and proficiency in development of sourcing strategies, vendor development and analytical assessment.
• Should have exposure to VA/VE analysis, strong in negotiation with suppliers / vendors
• Will be responsible for directing the development and implementation of key purchase / procurement strategies, contingency plans and ensuring that plans are aligned with project requirements.
• Able to identify and evaluate the suppliers based on their previous similar experiences, designing, mfg & financing capabilities, Quality systems, testing & validation capabilities and their current rating in market etc.
• Will be responsible for conducting the Price negotiations after obtaining multiple commercial offers from suppliers.
• Should be experienced in managing purchase operations (Plant/ Capital/ Project/ Routine) encompassing strategic sourcing & supplier up gradation, materials planning & procurement, pricing, global sourcing, capital & project purchasing.
• Will be responsible for vendor selection & part development for new as well as for existing projects.
