Job Description :

• Plant Resident Engineering - Support to all plants for launch,day today product engg issues ,Permits etc
• Ownership of production designs & handling customer requirements
• Design change management
• Field failure analysis
• Support to Application engg on prototype development
• Prototype quality monitoring
• New process development
• Value engineering
• Benchmarking
• DVP & DFMEA updation

Required Competencies:

• Analytical skill
• Mechanical Design
• Knowledge of materials ,heat treatment
• Knowledge of manufacturing process
• Knowledge of DVP&R, DFMEA
• Knowledge in managing engineering project budget, support Cost Analysis process.
• Knowledge of product engineering.
• Present written and technical communication internally and to external customers.
• Plan, initiate and track engineering projects.
• Proficiency in CAD - UG/CATIA/Pro-E/Ideas - Modeling/Drafting
• GD&T,Tolerance stack-up application skill
• Knowledge of Teamcentre
• Application Engineering & Customer Service handling
• Managerial Skill

• Handling incoming and outgoing calls.
