Job Description :
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company balance sheet and financial statements.
  • Business decision support for the company’s operations (including cost estimates for quotations).
  • Manage and evaluate the work performed by the other financial personnel at the plant
  • Produce and analyze accounting information and other reports for management.
  • Produce variance analysis and develop required corrective actions. Work with plan personnel to implement corrective actions and monitor progress.
  • Meet established deadlines for daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements
  • Prepare and present to manufacturing staff monthly financial forecasts and results and make final recommendations when necessary.
  • Responsible for preparation of yearly budget and monthly forecast
  • Prepare, review and approve capital spending requests and related financial analysis.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure reporting integrity.
  • Manage Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) process at site.
  • Understand manufacturing process, spending time on plant floor, to understand plant issues and cost impact.
  • Work with Oracle system to ensure integrity in inventory, other areas and to obtain data for analysis
  • Work with other plant staff members in managing various projects.
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS :
  • Should have worked in a manufacturing company
  • Experience in US GAAPS
  • Should be very good in Excel
  • Experience in ERP (Oracle Financials)
  • Should be willing to work hands on many of the things
  • Should be able to independently finalize the Books of Accounts

Job Description :

  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company balance sheet and financial statements.

  • Plans, organizes, directs and controls the operations of the Engineering Office located in Pune, India.

  • Establishing and maintaining standards, product improvement, product cost reductions, product training, engineering design automation and administering Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
  • To review the order / job specification, prepare the technical queries and resolve the same with the Contracts / Marketing engineer prior to engineering.

Competencies :
  • Relevant engineering degree from a reputed college with 3 to 6 years experience in solid liquid separation equipment design specifically for pulp & paper products.
  • Experience with relevant Indian & International design codes and standards,including IS 800, API620/650, IS 803, ASME section VIII Div 1, etc.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, metallurgy.
  • Should have design engineering aptitude, calculation skills.
  • Should have very good ability to read engineering drawings and interpret drawings
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, organize and work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers, draftsman & review their work.
  • Ability to think logically and quickly with creative problem-solving and good decision-making skills
  • Well conversant with office software such as M.S. Office, Inventor 2010, AutoCAD 2010 will be essential.

  • Experience in using Autodesk Vault desirable.
