Qualification : B. Com. / M. Com.
Experience : 8 to 12 years

Job Description :

• Person should have good experience in Import & Export formalities and inland transportation
• Should have knowledge of Licensing procedure at DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade)
• Should know all kind of export formalities - customs excise and all related laws
• Responsible for arranging transport both inland and overseas, by road, sea and air
• Should know Sea and air freight carriers, agents rates and formalities
• Responsible for Inland Transportation -
• Ensuring efficient and timely transport arrangements.
• To get best cost effective and competitive freight rates for all types of transportation.
• To ensure that all transit documents like Road permits etc are available at the right time.
• To prepare transport, packing and forwarding budget for various consignments. 

Skills and Knowledge

• Good knowledge of contract law
• Good working knowledge of customs clearance procedures
• Good working knowledge of licensing procedures
• Working knowledge of Income tax, TDS etc. pertaining to Services availed
• Working knowledge of Sales Tax / VAT, Service Tax & Excise, Import, Export etc.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
