Job Description :                                                                                          

•  Responsible for Purchase and Import of various items, mainly electronics items.
• Procurement planning as per the production requirement.
• Development of effective materials procurement system, identify and procure materials and services.
• Develop a network of suppliers and service providers for cost effective supply chain and coordinate material deliveries, capacity planning.
• Coordination with vendors for continuous improvement in quality and delivery performance.
• Negotiate and decide for Rates, Payment Terms, Delivery Period and freight for procurement of various items.
• Participate from concept stage in new product development and ensure right quality and cost of the materials.

• Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage, backlog reports etc.

Job Description :

• Ability to read and understand specification, fabrication, erection, and standard engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of drafting standard for both structural and mechanical design.
• Experience using Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling software application
• Generating design and general arrangement drawings within estimated hours;
• Detailing drawings for fabrication and generating part lists categorizing all equipment components.
• Performing general engineering calculations.
• Assisting with product and process improvement projects.
• Performing duties unique to functional area which may include 3D modeling software application, maintaining and improving standard design.

Skills Required :
