Post : Manager Gear Application Engineering - CRD/2802 Location : Pune Qualification : B.E. Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Industrial & production/ Automobile Experience : 10 to 15 years of experience

Job Description :

• Coordinate design and procurement of all necessary tooling for gear developments
• Coordinate design and procurement of all necessary cutting tools for gear developments
• Understand gear geometry and gear manufacturing procedures
• Expediting part processing through internal and external sources
• Program scheduling and updating project database
• Coordination of gear development lab activities including: Developments, Research activities, Training, Customer visits, Inspection services
• Support plant PIP and cost reduction initiatives
• Develop and implement best practices and standards
• Tracking product through processing operations
• Plant manufacturing support
• Plant gear quality support
• Travel as necessary to other Company facilities, vendors and suppliers, meetings, conferences, training and shows, both domestically and internationally
• Must be able to use various computer systems and programs as necessary to complete job functions
• Be able to work extra hours as necessary
• Work closely with Gear Developers and Gear Engineers
• Ensure timely completion of all project objectives
• Be able to write detailed technical reports
• Have a valid driver license for travel and vehicle evaluations
• Have a positive attitude, quick learner and a team player with diverse ideas and viewpoints
• Must be able to read blue prints and interpret specifications.
